Product recall
I bought an electric item in uk in nov 25.
I recently had a message from ebay to say it was recalled for safety.
I've emailed Ebay but they won't help and I messaged the seller and they won't reply.
Any suggestions please.

Mentor6 months agoYou should be in time to get help from your payment provider, mostly they allow 120 days. (Except Paypal, also 30 days.

Ebay won't help beyond their 30 day MBG.
Too late for payment provider as well.
If it was UK business seller, contact citizens advice.

·6 months agoThere is nothing you can do through Ebay - they are obliged to inform buyers about recall notices but don't get involved beyond that.
However, you may be in time to start a chargeback through your bank as the item is not fit for purpose.
