Problem with Simple Postage
Good evening, I’m new to selling and I have sold my item. The buyer has paid and we are doing simple delivery, the system won’t generate the QR code as it’s not happy with the buyers address. The address looks fine to me, what do I need to do to get this sale over the line?
thanks for your help.

Mentor4 months agoYou can either cancel the transaction with buyer's agreement via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list. If their address has more than 39 characters including spaces on any line ask them to try moving the road name to the second line and saving as a "new address". Then buy again.
Or you can cancel transaction and relist with free postage (seller pays), and add the cost of postage to the item price. Buy your own postage outside of ebay and claim a refund for the unused label here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
You cannot change the tracking number but you would be able to add the new number to a "not received" case if that were necessary. Without tracking on ebay the payment may be held for 14 days. Or as a new seller payment may be held for 30 days, regardless of postage situation.
