Printed out one address label twice for two separate items.
Hello, everyone. Made a mistake today... a buyer bought two books from me. When I printed out the tracking and address information, I mistakenly printed the same label twice over and attached the labels to the separate packages. When I got to the post office with the two packages (plus one other going to a completely different person with the correct tracking number attached to his package) the man said that after he had scanned the three packages there were only two different tracking numbers. To rectify this, the man taped the two books together (that are going to the same buyer) and has sent them as one package. Trouble is that when I looked at my sold list it shows one of the packages as just being despatched and the other as having been successfully scanned by the courier. This may mean that eBay will only pay me for one of the two items and may lead eBay to tell me that I have not sent one of the packages and thus penalise me in some way. A bit long-winded but I've tried to make this as clear as I can. Thanks for any help.
