prices changed on listings with variations
Hi everyone,
I have some listings with variations which consist if two or more sets of card toppers which I sell as a set of 6. If I have two sets of similar images I offer them both on the same listing as a variation e.g. buy set 1, buy set 2. I then have a third option to buy both sets at a lower price than buying the the two sets separately. Today I made the sale for two sets bought together, but the price the buyer paid was for a single set. When I checked the listing the price for both sets had been put on set 1 and the single set price was on the buy both sets option. At first I put it down to error on my part, but I decided to check similar listings and found that quite a few had this problem. I know I had not made this mistake on other listings and previous sales of these listings were correct. I have been through all of my listings and changed the prices back to what they should be. I searched on google to see if there was a reason this may have happened and the AI answer was that sometimes this happens due to a bug on the site. I've never had this happen before and can't find anything on the forums about this.
My worry now is that this bug or glitch will spontaneously change the prices again and I will have to go through every listing again to change the prices to what they should be, or that I am going to lose money on sales having to honour the mistake in prices when a buyer takes advantage of the mixed up prices.
Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know what has caused it, and is it a one off occurrence or something that's going to happen again? If so I'm going to have to stop offering the options and lose out on the upsell.
