Posting two lots to the same buyer using Simple Delivery
Hi - I have recently successfully sold several lots of cassette tapes. When coming to dispatching them, I noticed that two lots were purchased by the same buyer so I thought it would be sensible to combine the two into one parcel which has now been delivered. The buyer is delighted and has left extremely positive feedback.
The issue is that now only one of the two lots has been marked as delivered with the other still marked as dispatched. I have contacted the buyer and he has no way to mark the order as having been received so the order is now in limbo as it will never be marked by eBay as having been delivered.
Any ideas on how this situation can be rectified please?

Mentor11 months agoHave these items been posted? Then, there is nothing you can do now, to mark the second item as dispatched. You may need to wait a minimum of 14 days for the release of that payout for that one item.
If this happens again, that is, the need to post items together, and combine postage, the best way forward would be to cancel all items, of course, with the buyer's acceptance, and relisting them as one, so there's one important tracking number, one postage price. Ensure any message to your buyer makes it very clear the reason why the items are being cancelled, that they are to be relisted on eBay again, for the buyer to buy, leave no room for doubt that this is Not an off eBay sale.
