Posting items
I have recently sold an item. I was unable to print a label due to an apparent wrong address. Seller provided address to which I have posted but I cannot find how to mark as despatched although the royal mail tracking now says delivered. Can anyone help?

Mentor10 months agoI'm hoping the address the buyer gave you was exactly the same address eBay sent to you on the delivery order, no matter that there was an issue later, printing the label.
If it was different, then you have lost seller protection if the item is not delivered.
Otherwise, to mark as dispatched and for refunds for the unused Simple Delivery labels proceed this way:
You can manually update the tracking, and use a laptop / PC for this. Chrome works well too.
For the unused Simple Delivery label:

OP10 months agoThanks for the reply but the instructions you have given can't be applied. I have no drop down menus near tracking and can't add new tracking to replace the existing wrong details. Highly frustrating when parcel has been delivered but buyer is not responding. I'm at a loss on my next move

Mentor10 months agoeBay have only just removed the option of adding a new tracking number so it can't be done now. The best you can do is open the original label and that will mark the item as dispatched.

OP10 months agoI did this but it is now waiting for me to despatch when the item has already been delivered. I can't manually put this in though and the purchaser isn't responding. It feels like an over complicated automated service now

Mentor10 months agoIt is over complicated. There's nothing else you can do. The payment will probably be held but you will get it in the end.
