Posting a sold item
Hi everyone, I’ve just agreed to a sale on an item and eBay is telling me to post by 8th October. I had to take a late notice flight to Europe last night to attend to a business problem so out of the country until Saturday 10th October and unable to post until then. The buyer is ok but I’m unable to get through to a customer service representative and the automated assistant just sends me round in circles. Any advice or able to point me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks..

Mentor10 months agoRegardless of the suggestions above always keep the buyer in the loop, I am sure in many cases they will be understanding of the situation.

Mentor10 months agoYou can try contacting ebay to ward off a late dispatch defect. We only have the callback facility - here:

Alternatively you could cancel the transaction with buyer's agreement, and relist when you get back. Or you could be two days late and don't worry about it.
