Postage Label Expired
Hi
I was on holiday when an item sold, my account was scheduled as time away but I allowed sales as an item had a bid and ended while I was away.
Once win I messaged buyer highlighting I was away and asking them not to pay straight away so postage did not expire.
They paid anyway and said just post ehen you are back!
I got back today and as expected postage lable expired yesterday! Can I fix it or do I have to cancel sale and refund??

Mentor2 days agoUnless you can still cancel the label you will be charged, unless the buyer bought the label when he gets an automatic refund.

OP2 days agoI did consider that but not an expensive item so I lose out when not my fault as I did message them a day before they paid asking to hold off on payment straight away.
Ebay rally should offer longer postage times if you declare on time away?

Mentor3 days agoYes, I'm afraid you do have to cancel the transaction with buyer's agreement and relist for them to buy again.
