Postage issues -

can anyone help with postage issues, I've just started selling cards, i don't need anything larger than a large letter, and charge £1.55 second class. But when an item sells the delivery fee is nearly double so lose out all the time even though i have listed with second class £1.55?
Example, i have just sold a card, which has £1.55 second class postage on the item. I go to get the label and its £3.95 as it is somehow upgrading it to a small package, even though its a small pokemon card!
any help is grealty appreciated. getting nothing from ebay.

Mentor3 weeks agoIt sounds like you're able to opt out of ebay's Simple Deilvery postage during the listing process but somehow it's opting you back in later. What you could do is list with free postage, factor that cost into your item price and buy your own postage outside of eBay.
To get the buyer's full address and mark dispatched click on Get prepaid label > Print label for the original Simple Delivery label. It will remain unused and you can claim a refund for it.
You cannot change the tracking number but you would be able to add the new number to a "not received" case if that were necessary. Without tracking on ebay the payment may be held for 14 days.
