Postage fee question. Possible error by ebay.

Question

Hi I sold an item for £400.00, the buyer had to pay 13.63 in post plus the listing fee. The sold listing states buyer pays postage and this was stated on the listing before the sale., but in actual fact during the label print process ebay said I needed to pay the postage to enable postage label printing. I assume I get the postage back, but It looks like I will just get then £400.00 i.e. my selling price from the buyer. How can this be correct?

The buyer pays the £13.63 and you use it to buy the postage label with. You should've received it.
