Postage cost to me when sold as buyer pays ?
Any ideas why I am being asked to pay for postage ion small item ? I sold as buyer pays which they have done £1.50 and now they have opted for Royal Mail and I have to pay a further £2 on a £5 item ? I’ve sold more the 65 items and this has never happened Manyvthx

Mentor7 months agoBuyers can't change the postage on a listing but ebay can charge you more than the buyer paid if you try and buy the postage from ebay.
Unless it's simple delivery, which it doesn't seem to be, buyer pays means the buyer pays you the postage and you buy it.

OP7 months agoSo I have 330 items currently for sale and have sold about 50 ytd. Buyer pays postage on all of them. The buyer has paid for a £5 item £1.50 totalling 6.50 however it won’t let me print the label for postage until I pay £3 postage on top. Never happened before, Im confused. I do not want to sell on these terms though f I try and cancel I owe the seller £6.50 which I hope is not in addition. Manyvthx for your help btw

Mentor7 months agoEbay should have provided you with the buyer's address without you needing to print the label.
Printing the label is buying postage from ebay. That's why the cost is higher.

I cannot see anything with £1.50 postage and an alternative for buyer to choose.
