Postage
I used the automated selling option when selling an item for the first time on EBay. I have printed off the postage label but the buyer says she wants me to send it by Royal Mail but I didn’t have that option. She now says that she wants me to refund her because she doesn’t want to use Evri which is the prepaid label I have printed.
I cannot work out how to raise this with EBay and it is supposed to be sent either today or tomorrow. Do I send it anyway?

·6 months agoYou don't need to contact Ebay - as a seller, you can cancel the sale and refund the buyer.
As advised, don't post the item. You would be asking for trouble - either an item not received case or a return.
The refund may go out of your bank account before Ebay release the buyer's money to you.
You don't need to refund the postage as the buyer has paid that to Ebay so they will refund that.
You can cancel an order by selecting the button below. After you cancel we'll let the buyer know and, if they've already paid, they'll get a refund.

Mentor6 months agoSuggest cancelling using buyers request as reason,, then relist offering Royal Mail.
You do not have to offer Evri with their dreadful record.

Mentor6 months agoYou could send anyway but may get negative feedback from the buyer. If you agree to cancel go to your orders page, click on the dropdown menu arrow alongside the item and select Cancel order > Buyer asked to cancel.
If she still wants the item cancel and relist with Royal Mail. You can opt out of using Evri here:
