Possible Seller Hub bug? "Last 30 days" feedback summary conflicts with "Past 6 months" feedback date
Summary: tom1asz reported an issue with their eBay feedback profile displaying a negative review incorrectly in the last 30 days instead of the past 6 months. They confirmed the problem under different conditions and suspected it might confuse potential buyers. tressygirl suggested contacting eBay Customer Service to have the tech team look into it. tom1asz noticed the inconsistency is intermittent and took screenshots over time. john1297576 suggested the problem might be due to update timing, but tom1asz expressed ongoing concerns about synchronization issues. Additionally, papso22 explained that a discussion banner might indicate restricted interaction, but this was normal for certain board settings.
Hi everyone,
I have noticed what appears to be a public feedback display issue and I would like to know if anyone else has experienced the same problem.
On my public Feedback Profile, the feedback summary shows 1 negative feedback in the Last 30 Days.
However, the actual negative feedback displayed on the same page is marked as "Past 6 months", not within the last 30 days.
I have confirmed this behaviour both while logged in and in a private browser window, so this is not limited to my own account view.
This means that potential buyers may see a recent negative feedback in the summary, while the individual feedback itself indicates it was left much earlier.
Has anyone else noticed the same inconsistency?
If an eBay moderator could review this and, if appropriate, ask the Technical Team to investigate, I would be very grateful. I have screenshots showing both views on the same page.
Thank you.

Mentor1 month agoWhen I looked a few days ago, it sis show 1 negative in last month, this has now moved to 6 months.
So probably just a timing issue.

Mentor1 month agoIt's best to contact eBay CS, and ask them to refer your account to the Tech team to look at.
Contacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to10 p.m. on weekdays.
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

Mentor1 month ago · EditedAs far as I can see there is nothing wrong, you probably saw it at point of updating and not all changes take place at the same time.

OP1 month agoThank you for your reply.
I understand that temporary delays during system updates can occur. However, this has not happened just once.
I have observed the same behaviour on multiple occasions over a longer period of time. The issue appears, disappears, and then reappears again. I have taken screenshots from different occasions showing the same inconsistency.
Interestingly, shortly after I published this post, the negative feedback was no longer counted in the "Last 30 days" summary. I do not know whether this was simply another system refresh or whether any background action was taken, but the behaviour has been inconsistent for quite some time.
For that reason, I am still concerned that there may be an intermittent display or synchronisation issue rather than a one-time update delay.

OP1 month agoWhy does this discussion still display "Locked – Discussion interactions are currently paused" at the top, even though the thread is public and members are able to reply?
Is this expected behaviour?
Thank you.

Mentor1 month agoIt's poor wording but it's meant to show that only the OP (you) and designated members , known as 'mentors' can respond on the member to member board.
