Possible fraud
hi I’ve listed an item on eBay which is a canoe. The buyer has asked to come and look at the canoe and has offered to pay in cash and collect it later as he doesn’t have a trailer for a roof rack at the moment. Is this in violation of eBay rules and could this be a possible scam

·11 months agoYou are no longer allowed to accept cash on collection and should not be able to exchange contact details until the buyer has bought the item and paid through Ebay checkout.
It doesn't sound like a scam - just a buyer who doesn't know how Ebay works.
