Please help confused newbie

Question

Hello, I'm new to eBay (private seller) I sold an item,.and sent via simple delivery. Evri was unable to deliver to the address the Buyer provided, so the item was returned back to me. ebay has marked the item as delivered and I'llreceivemy funds on the 21st. How do I go about refunding the buyer do I have to wait until they flag an issue or do I have to manually do it? Do i refund the full amount or just the amount I'll receive for it? Just a bit confused

The buyer won't be able to open a "not received" case if it's marked as delivered. You can send a refund via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your order list. You refund what you received. ebay will refund the rest.
