please help

Question

I purchased an item but was away when the letter arrived with the tax information to pay. By the time I logged on to pay it was too late. Therefore the item sat in depot for weeks then eventually was collected and returned to US. Seller apparently never received item back as the fees weren’t paid. EBay saying they can’t help as it’s outside 30 day policy. Seller never received item. I never got the item or a refund. Really doesn’t seem fair… please help

Failure to pay import fees invalidates ebay MBG. Any refund is now between you seller, but if they haven't received item back, they are unlikely to sort.
