Mentor1 month agoTrying to avoid the now approved method can be very risky as without the code seller has no proof of delivery and cannot mark as dispatched.
Have you not read the methods of payment allowed, they will be on the listing.

Mentor1 month agoeBay has banned cash on collection and now blocks messages containing contact details prior to online payment. If the item was listed for collection you will receive a collection code after you've paid via eBay online. You take the 6 digit code (or QR code on your phone), and give it to the seller when you go to collect the item. Seller enters it on their ebay account to show the item has been handed over.
