Photo ID issue??
Summary: satinandtat92 is seeking advice on withdrawing their balance from eBay without providing a photo ID, as they do not own one and are uncomfortable submitting such documents. tressygirl suggests alternatives accepted by eBay, such as a UK birth certificate and proof of address. fargvs advises checking account settings and provides links to eBay's help pages for updates on payment management.
I am aware this has been posted about ad nauseum on here (at least according to my searching) but the info given seems to have varied, a lot. Spoke to an exceptionally unhelpful agent about which only confused me further, so really really hoping for some clear answers here.
I do not own a photo ID (nor do I ever really want to give ebay an image of it if I did!) - do I have any options whatsoever for withdrawing my balance, or can ebay just hold my money from me until I comply? Can I not use the balance to buy within ebay, even?

Mentor2 weeks agoEarlier this year a Community Manager posted this, hopefully it still applies, a help for those with no photo ID...
We accept an National Photo ID card, UK Passport, UK Driver’s License. If you don't any of these documents, you can submit a UK birth certificate along with a proof of address (electricity/internet bill or similar) that is no older than 3 months, instead of a photo ID.
