Photo frame arrived with glass shattered.

Question

I received my photo frame today and the glass is shattered, I can’t see any option to report item is broken, the order says it has buyers protection but I don’t know how to take it further with eBay. I’ve messaged the seller but I’m afraid they won’t help.

Start a return via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your purchase history page. Use the reason "Damaged in transit". If it's a private seller you will receive a refund without having to return the item. If it's a business seller and you do have to send it back you will get the link to a paid-for return label to print and use.

The buyer protection fee itemised on your order has nothing to do with the protection you need here. That protection comes from the money back guarantee. All members, buyers and sellers, should read up on how that works.
