Phone expired within two months of purchase.
I bought a 'sealed boxed' Huawei P30 mobile phone on Ebay 13/06/2025 for £102. I thought it was new.
It had problems and became unusable on 15/08/2025.
I found the warranty date was 2020/8/6. It was clearly not a new phone.
I contacted the seller to ask for a refund on 24/09/2025, with follow up messages. He has ignored them all.
It looks to be a private seller. Do I have any options?

Mentor5 months agoSorry, it's far too late to do anything via ebay. They only allow 30 days for claims. Also too late for a card refund (120 days).
You could try the small claims court, now called money claim online:

You had 30 days for ebay MBG & 120 maybe for payment provider.
