Pestered by seller over feedback
Need advice, i purchased a leather watch case as a gift for a family member, when it arrived i wanted to check it was ok wrapping it for xmas, glad i did as when i tried to open it (press-Studs held it closed) it came apart in more than one location, it was of poor quality in the stitching, i contacted the seller for a refund they offered a small refund immediately and said i could keep the leather case, i tried to see if i could repair it but could not, so contacted them again, all they wanted was for me to remove the neutral feedback i gave not negative, i am receiving messages almost daily asking mem to remove the neutral feedback, they have now just offered a full refund if i remove the neutral feedback ??, the quality of goods are poor, i feel that anyone who buys may run into the same issues, what should i do

·7 months agoI would probably open a return case and send the item back for a full refund.
The seller should provide a label - if they provide a Chinese address ask Ebay to step in as it says their items are located in Dunstable UK.
However, you state that you have tried to repair the item.
The seller you bought from is a top rated seller and is allowed to make deductions of up to 50% if items are not returned in the same condition, so you may end up with less than £5 back for your time and effort.

Money back guarantee.

Mentor7 months agoIt's up to you but if you don't mind agreeing to feedback removal (the official request would have to be issued by the seller) tell them you will do that after the full refund, not before.
