Persistent Listing Removal Issues on eBay: Seeking Advice and Experiences
Summary: 834kbl is experiencing an issue with a persistent listing of a pickle fork on eBay, which remains visible to them despite being taken down 97 days ago. They are unable to delete it and are seeking advice on how to address this issue. john1297576 suggests that inactive items usually disappear after a certain period if not relisted and reassures that it will likely resolve on its own eventually.
Hey everyone,
I'm dealing with a peculiar issue on eBay, and I'm hoping for some insights or sharing of experiences. I have an item, a tiny pickle fork, that was taken down by eBay. It's been 97 days, and even though no one else can see it, it remains visible to me. Whenever I attempt to delete it, I receive a message to try again later.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with persistent listings on eBay or other platforms? How did you resolve it? Are there any specific strategies or tips that worked for you? I'm keen to hear your thoughts, whether they involve technical fixes, contacting support, or any creative solutions.
Looking forward to your responses!

Mentor1 week agoWhen an item is removed, it becomes a permanent item in the inactive items, but I thought it disappeared in the same way all inactive items do after I think 60 days, if not relisted.
It is not doing any harm, it will go eventually.

OP1 week agoThanks - I thought it would disappear after 60 - or 90 - days, but it's still there after 90 days.. I will have to ignore it, it's just irritating. I could not get an answer from the "bot" which was no help at all, just kept repeating itself! I wonder who decided that a tiny pickle fork was "a bladed item".
