'Pending Payment' at my Bank for an Item I've Had An Offer Accepted On | Member To Member Support

I spotted an item I wanted, but the price was a bit high. There was the option to submit an Offer lower than the Buy It Now price. I did this and my offer was accepted. I made the payment. My eBag account shows the purchase as Paid. The seller hasn't received the funds. My bank, HSBC, shows the transaction as Pending. I've phoned them and they say the Merchant hasn't claimed the funds. HSBC advised me to speak to eBay to get them to expedite the funds transfer to the seller.Can you help or advise me of the best way forward?Thanks... Peter Ellinger
