Payouts problem
Summary: mnt7772003 is experiencing issues with transferring funds from their eBay.de account to a German bank account after recently moving from the UK to Germany. Despite setting up their account correctly, they are unable to resolve the issue due to their account's original UK registration. kat@ebay explained that accounts with existing selling history cannot change the registration site and suggested setting up a new account for Germany. However, mnt7772003 has already made sales on eBay.de and seeks assistance on transferring the funds.
Hi everyone, and thanks in advance for any help...
I have had a UK ebay account since 2003 but recently moved to Germany. I am now selling things over here, and have my location, home address, currency etc etc set up correctly - and am using ebay.de
However, despite connection my German bank account to receive payments, the 1p/1 cent doesn't seem up to get paid in and the connection is not made for me to be able to withdraw my funds in Euros.
Someone deep online I found a post that claimed that the foundations of my account are still British and that could cause the problem, and that I should log back into ebay.co.uk and set it all up that way. It didn't work.
The AI on the helpline does't understand the problem and of course I can't seem to contact a human being.

Thank you for your post.
Once you have previous selling history on an account the registration site cannot be changed. As your account is registered on the UK site and previously registered for payments within the UK it cannot be changed. Payment systems are different for reach region. This would mean that in order for you to sell in Germany you would need to set up a new account.

OP1 week agoThank you for this. But now there is an issue and time can not be reversed. I have sold through my account at eBay.de (without creating a new one because I wasn't required to) and now have money in my account from sales. So how do I transfer that money on my .de account to my German bank account?

Is that correct, as I understood that accounts cannot be moved from one country to another and that a new account has to be opened.
I think you need to speak to Ebay.de to get sorted out.

Nope, member since 2003 in UK but now a member in Germany. Do you have any idea how I can speak to a human being, either at .co.uk or .de?
