Hi just wondering if anyone can help me with this. I sold an item and the buyer had payed for postage but realised he lived close. Because of this I went to drop off the item to his house instead. On the tracking it says dispatched and not delivered even though he marked it as delivered. This was 4 days ago now and nothing has changed the payment is still pending. Any idea when i’ll receive the money? Thanks for your help

Mentor11 months agoYou are a new seller so could have to wait up to 20 days. By delivering you will have no proof of buyer receiving item, in fact you would have no defence if they claimed not received.
There is a system in place for collection items, but it has to be on the listing as collection. Once bought it cannot be changed, leaving you as seller unprotected.
For your information there is no way for a buyer to mark as delivered.
Once you have a track record for selling with feedback, I believe it is 10 when DSRs show, money is released within 24 hours.
