Payments
I am trying to pay for an item that I won, the advert says that the seller posts to the UK, but when I have tried to pay I am getting a message telling me that the seller wont post to the UK and I am not able to pay, the payment screen is greyed out. Is there a workaround for this? It hasn't happened before.

Mentor5 months agoWhereabouts in the UK are you? There are certain places a seller may block because courier charges are higher, such as the Channel Isles, Highlands and Islands.
Or it could be this.
There's an intermittent bug to do with addresses. eBay say a delivery address must not exceed 39 characters including spaces on any line. Even if your address doesn't exceed that try shifting the format around, such as moving just the road name to the second line, then save as a "new address".

OP5 months agoI live in Romford Essex which is still in UK and this is the first time the
issue has happened, I have made 100's of purchases before with the same
address, it hasn't changed.

Mentor5 months agoIt's an intermittent error. It can occur because of the number of letters in one line. This affects quite a few and does happen out of the blue.
Check the way your address is written in your profile, adjust it a little, move part of it down a line and select 'add new address' then see if that helps.
