Payment refunded and item relisted

Question

Just had my offer accepted and payment made. The payment was then refunded an hour later and the seller immediately reslisted the item at a higher price. Can they do this?

Obviously they're not supposed to and you could report them to ebay but they cannot be forced to sell to you. Try and find a more reliable seller.

If you bought and paid, then you can still leave Negative feedback and complete the star ratings. Keep it brief, “seller did not honour the sale” and mark the ratings low.

Low ratings can damage a sellers account more than the feedback.
