payment on hold
Summary: abbixstore is experiencing recurring restrictions on their eBay account, despite meeting the conditions for reinstatement after a previous suspension. They have completed the required 90 successful transactions and maintained good account standing, yet still face limitations. They are seeking assistance from eBay Support to understand why these issues persist and whether the restrictions can be permanently removed.
Dear eBay Support,
I would really appreciate your help with an ongoing issue on my account. It seems that around the 17th of every month, my account receives some kind of restriction or limitation.
My account was suspended around three months ago, but I successfully appealed and eBay reinstated my account. At that time, I was informed that after reinstatement, my funds could be delayed for up to 21 days, and that after completing 90 successful transactions over 3 months, my account should return to normal.
It has now been more than three months, and I have completed 90+ successful transactions. I upload valid tracking for every order, deliver orders on time, and currently have no defects or other issues on my account.
Despite meeting these requirements, my account still does not appear to be back to normal and I continue to experience restrictions. Could you please review my account and confirm why this is still happening and whether the restrictions can now be permanently removed?
I would be very grateful for your help and clarification. Thank you very much for your time and support.

Mentor2 weeks agoI can't believe that nobody has pointed this out to you - you're very obviously trading on the wrong kind of eBay account.
A private seller is one who is just selling off their own personal items such clothes from their wardrobe, bits from their loft/garage etc, they don't have hundreds of multiple items.
A Business seller is someone who buys or makes items to sell on. They need to be registered as a business to meet the requirements of UK law. They need to declare income to HMRC once they reach £1,000 worth of sales (eBay will be providing HMRC with your details anyway so it's vital to keep correct accounts for your tax return). You can obviously offset more expenses as a business seller, but can't offset any at all as a private one.
To correctly register as a business seller simply go to your Personal Information in your account and to the right of Account Type, which will be showing as 'Individual' you'll see an Edit option.
This doesn't affect your feedback profile or any current listings, it merely upgrades your account so that you're compliant with current consumer and eBay policy.
If you're also selling your own items, just open another eBay account (you can have more than one).
