Payment
Hi, when I sell on ebay.... do I have to post off before my payment is sent to my ebay account ? Not sold in ages and rules seem to have changed. The buyer has paid me for the goods but do I have to wait for delivery before I get the payment into my bank account. Thanks

Mentor6 months agoOnce you have some sales and feedback, money will be released within 24 hours. You do have to withdraw to your bank account though, or ebay does automatic payouts on first Tuesday of Jan., Apl., July and Oct.
Once money gets released within 24 hours, I find in many cases it is released within a few hours.

Mentor6 months agoTo add to the advice given, if you haven't sold for ages, Simple Delivery is mandatory now for Private sellers, and it's very different, from when you may have sold items.
Take a peek here:

Mentor6 months agoYou post the item once you have a payment notification and the money in your eBay account.
Presumably you've added your bank account and it's been verified?
Funds for new or infrequent sellers are usually held for two days after tracking shows delivery. As you establish a selling record you can get your funds available within 24 hours, see the criteria set out here on this eBay guidance page:
