Paying for postage
For years when I sell I take it to the post office and pay the postage now I find out I'm sent a code and that's used as postage is already paid. How can I get back the years of postage payments that were already paid for?

Mentor1 month agoAs you are a private seller, simple delivery kicks in whereby ebay provide you the label or a QR code to post the item at the post office. There are certain exemptions on certain products and if they are priced for example under £20. THen you can use your own postage.
When you get to the postage options if you are offered another option bar simple delivery then you can use this for custom postage as you did before.

OP1 month agoRather than using the code I would just pay at post office what happens to all the postage it seems was already paid does it get given back to me. I've only just stated using the code but for many years and many hundreds of items sold what happens to all that postage because I never used ebay code?

Mentor1 month agoUnder simple delivery, if buyer pays the postage and you don't use the QR code, buyer gets the refund.

Which is why seller gets QR code to print label at no cost to them.
If you buy postage at PO, it is out of your money.
Put simple delivery into help and contact for ebay explanation.
