Paying for Part Postage?
Hi,
I have recently sold an item for £9 and instead of getting a paid label, it is telling me the client will pay 0.91p
and I have to buy the label which is £2.69 how do I change this?
Otherwise I am only receiving £7.22

MentorSep 10, 2026 at 6:47 PMWhat listing is it, is it the pencil grips? If so, you've set up your listing with 91p postage, and that's what the buyer has paid. You can't ask for more.

MentorSep 11, 2026 at 7:45 AMYou would need to cancel the label, and just use a stamp.
Simple Delivery does not cover 2nd. class postage, and will not have any tracking.
For low value items SD can be very expensive.

MentorSep 11, 2026 at 1:22 PMIf you're a private seller just selling off you own personal possessions (not buying items to re-sell) then Simple Delivery is mandatory. The option to opt out and select you own custom postage is only available for items in specific categories that are priced £20 and under. This includes items which are typically letter or large letter-sized and 100g or under.
