OP10 months agoNote I rarely use ebay so definitely not an expert, but I did sell an item in the summer and still have the funds from that item in my ebay account which are sufficient for me to pay for the item i just bought. If I go on the checkout page though, it shows the funds in the account (see below, I've put an x in the figure) but says in the greyed out writing I don't have any balance. Yet it shows my balance above. Any ideas??
eBay balance
Available: £X00.00
Unfortunately, you don't have any eBay balance to apply towards this order. Please select a different payment method and try again.

Mentor10 months agoThe suggestion to use money to buy, is probably automatic, but being greyed out suggests it is still on hold as you are a new seller.
Read conditions for holds
