Paying cash on a 'pick-up-only' item...
A potential bidder wants to make an offer - which I have told him I will accept - on an item...but if he does that, and I do that - he is only offered PayPal or card options to pay. This is a large item, and he is local to me - and he wants to pay cash. How do I facilitate this?

Mentor4 months agoIt is to prevent off ebay deals.
There is no means of marking as paid, and if buyer turned nasty, because for example he wanted to return and you refused, he could give you negative feedback.
You could hardly complain to ebay explaining that you broke the rules.
