partial refunds: resolution for full refund
Summary: dr_gee purchased an item from the US that was lost by a UK courier, Evri. They received a partial refund from the seller, but are seeking advice on how to obtain the remaining refund from eBay, as they couldn't find a method to do so through the website or app.
I'm a UK-based buyer, who bought a US-based item end of July this year - it successfully left the US & made it to the UK but to-date it still has not arrive (it's 21st September now) - ultimately the UK courier Evri (aka Hermes) lost it & Evri have admitted it formally now
Annoyingly EBay only facilitate refunds quickly if reported with a few days of the ETA, but the ETA was never established on this order & now I'm told that date has passed
I discussed with the buyer at length & she has kindly facilitated a partial refund which has just been confirmed today, but I understand I need to contact EBay for reimbursement of the remaining amount (see screenshot below) but there just doesn't seem to be a route on the website or in the app to do that?

OP2 weeks agoas an update I see that the amount refunded tallies with the exact amount for the item+VAT so it is the international postage which has not been refunded (as yet) & I cannot see how to unlock that final outstanding amount - thanks anyone for any help
