Seller won't supply missing items unless I close the case raised with eBay. I won't close case until missing items received. Am I right to do so?

If you close the case you won't be able to re-open it, or open another for this transaction.
Presumably you've opened an eBay return and selected 'Missing parts or pieces' as the reason?

OP7 months agoI couldn't find any missing parts etc. so recorded 'item not received' as not received in full.
Thanks.

Mentor7 months agoIf the tracking shows delivery you will lose a "not received" case. You can close it anyway because you will still be able to open a "not as described" return. Has to be done within 30 days of delivery.

Mentor7 months agoYou must as said, open a Not as described case. It is then up to the seller to within 3 days supply missing parts, or supply a return label to return for a full refund.
If no response then after 3 days you escalate to ebay.
It is far better to get a full refund than allow seller to delay providing missing parts and get you out of time.
On no account close case on Promises, as once closed cannot be reopened whatever seller says.
