Parcelforce no longer combining shipping
Until recently if I needed to send two separate parcels (for two different buyers) to the Global Shipping Depot at Fradley I could go to my local post office and send them as a "consignment" using the Parcelforce 48 service ( so it reduces the cost of getting them to Fradley). Yesterday, my local post office staff told me parcelforce has stopped doing consignments. If I tape the two parcels together will the staff at Fradley realise they are for two different buyers i.e. one might be in USA and one in Germany. ( I would try and make this obvious but writing this on the "outer box" or general label which would just say the GPS address and not the reference number. each separate parcel inside the box would be labelled up in the proper manner with the person's unique reference number like "#17656777766US". Any help/ advice much appreciated, thank you. Has anyone died this recently?? thanks Gavin

Mentor9 months agoYou would also have no real proof of delivery for TWO items only one, so any problems could get messy.

·9 months agoAlthough the two parcels are going to the same address, they will have different names and unique references.
I would have no confidence in the parcels being sent on correctly if you sent them as a single 'taped together' item.
I think you must send them as two separate items - you have charged the buyers for postage and the idea is that you send the items using the money collected.
