Parcel weight limit for combined postage-charges-royal mail
Hello,
a buyer has bought eight items form my listings, Simple postage has combined these and I need to click for one label. I tried to adjust the weight/size to reflect the combined postage parcel but I was only given the option of small parcel up to 2kg. The combined parcel is within the size limits but the weight is 14kg. I am worried that if I click 'print label' I will incur extra charges. It is via Royal Mail.
Please can anyone offer advice?

Mentor3 days agoIn theory if you use the recommended postage and it exceeds the maximum weight of the label you won’t be charged any additional costs. You're supposed to go ahead and use the Simple Delivery postage label provided.
But in your case as the weight is so much more than RM's limit I would cancel the transactions with the buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list) and relist with correct postage for them to buy again. You could relist is two or more separate groups of items if you prefer.
