Ordered a bike for collection only. Changed my mind and tried to cancel the order. Seller declined.

Hi all, As per the title, I ordered a used mountain bike and asked the seller about collection. They didn't reply so I looked elsewhere and tried to cancel the order.  After three days, they've declined the request to cancel the order, which I don't understand. eBay is now telling me that it will arrive by 28/12, which is impossible as I'm not going to collect it. After 28th december, you will need to open an 'item not received' case. You can do that even with a collection only item.
