opting out of simple delivery
Hi, I sell items that have a value of less than £5. Randomly i am being charged for simple delivery. Ebay states the simple delivery is the only option for items with a value above £20. All my items fit in an envelope with a second class stamp. When i try to change the listing I do not always have the option for custom delivery. It shows on some listings but not on all. Everytime i sell something, the postage I'm charged is more than the item I'm selling and i have to go through requesting a refund which takes at least 2 weeks, sometimes more. Is there any way to opt out of simple delivery on my account?

Where you are listing an item that is exempt then the custom delivery tab will be available to you.
It looks like you should be using a business account which isn't subject to simple delivery. Ebay requires sellers to have a business account if they buy to sell.
