Opening a new eBay shop to replace an existing one - sending a link to my buyers
Summary: thelittlemusicbazaar plans to close their music eBay shop due to high fees and merge its items into their general shop. They asked for advice on notifying buyers and followers about the change to retain their customer base. john1297576 mentioned that reaching out might be challenging, especially with followers. rainbowtrax suggested creating a newsletter through eBay to inform subscribers and followers about the transition.
Hi folks,
I presently have two eBay shops - one music one and one general all encompassing one. I can't afford to have two anymore because of high fees and subscriptions so I plan to close the music one and relist the music to my other one in bundles.
Is it possible to send some sort of message to my buyers and followers of the original shop saying that the items are moving to a new one? It seems a shame to lose my existing followers and customers but they wouldn't know where the items have gone unless I tell them.
Thanks for any advice.
Cath

Β·1 month agoWhile you've still got the shop subscription, just set up a newsletter here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sh/str/newsletter and put the info you want in the message. Set it to send to all subscribers and followers and to send once.
