Only debit card so cant buy snips so what have others done.
Is there a way of getting round this discriminatory policy.
It's ridiculous.
I dont believe in credit cards.
How do I contact ebay I just keep going round n round in a loop

Mentor5 months agoIt is the law to prove your age when buying a bladed item.
If you pay off CC, no interest is charged.
There are different ways to prove 18+, ebay only allow CC.

Mentor5 months agoeBay accepts only two methods of verifying your age.
One is by providing credit card details for verification. The card will not be saved or charged, unless you also choose to use it to pay. The other is by using a third-party partner of eBay called VerifyMyAge (details online).
eBay has obviously decided not to accept verification by methods which would involve the production, inspection and return of documents. I can't say I blame them.
Incidentally there are many other advantages of being able to pay by credit card. If you know your consumer rights you will know that paying on eBay by credit card gives you valuable extra buyer protection that lasts about four times longer than eBay's own 30 day money back guarantee. For purchases over £100 it further provides the heavyweight protection of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, which you don't get with other forms of payment on eBay.
I can understand why anyone might not want to risk getting into debt by using a credit card. But they don't have to. There are plenty of low limit, prepaid credit card available for purchase.

time of purchase.
If u dont have the money for something, you save up for it until u do.
That's Abigail problem with todays society. Too much on the never never.
Overburdening yourselves.
Its self defeating.
It would irk me, to waste so much money on exorbitant interest charges.
The policy is stupid. When u buy an ecig they use age verification.
It's a pair of garden snips for Pete's sake. Kids get their hands on
machetes and all sorts of stuff.
Because unlike this old fossil, they know every trick in the book.
Perhaps I should have asked 1 of them.
However after all that, i did manage to buy a pair of garden snips, on
ebay. And no, i didnt need, a dreaded credit card, to buy them!!

Ask a friend with CC to buy for you.
