I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have just been on the phone to the Technical Department of eBay to find out why I can no longer access using my older iPhone. In a nutshell, if your phone or tablet cannot update the eBay App, ( or even upload it at all ), then the only way to combat the issues is to purchase a New phone or tablet that is compatible for I.O.S. 18 as a minimum. The previous Apps that we have been connecting to are no longer supported, and are therefore no longer accessible.
There is regrettably no other way around this issue.

Mentor4 months agoYes, App pop up is everywhere.
It used to be that the App was limited, but a lot of firms are now phasing out websites in favour of apps,
I don't like it, much prefer websites on laptop.

OP4 months agoIt just appears to be that if you can’t upload an APP , then you can’t access anything anymore.

You should still be able to access ebay via web browser,
I don''t use the app.

OP4 months agoI was just using the Webpage, but that is where the current failures now exist. I kept getting bombarded with pop-ups inviting me to get the eBay APP, ( which I couldn’t upload anymore), and when I pressed ‘Maybe later ‘ in response everything just froze up, and I had to Log in again ! That was just the start of the issues, and now they are even worse.
