Offer price changes at checkout
I have received an offer for an item at $179.99 yet when I proceed to checkout the price increases to $215.99. The offer and checkout prices exclude shipping? Any ideas on why the increase?

Mentor1 month agoYou'll pay import VAT if you're buying an item from an international seller.

OP1 month agoWhen I select eBay shipping it says import charges are covered. The original offer $180 + $100 (seller shipping) with caveat that import charges may apply.
EBay shipping is cheaper but covers import charges.
Irrespective of selecting any shipping, the cost increase from $180 offer to $215 at checkout.
I find it quite baffling and off putting when change in cost isn’t clearly specified at checkout

OP1 month agoI understand now, had I only scrolled to the bottom of the payment page it was all listed there.
