Offer auto declined even tho it met set minimum
Hi,
I got a message from someone who had submitted an offer for one of the items I'm selling. Her offer met the minimum set, yet has been autodeclined.
Does anyone know why this might be, please?
Also, although I set this item for buyer to pay, the listing is showing as seller pays. I've raised this with eBay on another item and was reassured that all my listing are buyer pays. However, the aforementioned listing has changed overnight to seller pays. Does anyone know what to do about this?
Many thanks for reading these queries.

·6 months agoOffers are a bit complicated since the introduction of the Buyers Protection Fee.
My guess would be that the offer made was not high enough to cover your minimum selling price and the BPF.
If you have not sold to the buyer, you could just drop the price to the mimum you are happy to accept - then they can buy, or you might sell to a different buyer.
All of your items are showing as buyer pays postage.
I did notice that you have a couple of items with 87p postage. That is the price for a letter up to 5mm thick - about the thickness of a credit card in an envelope. Some embossed birthday cards are too thick for ordinary letter post and have to be sent as a large letter so I wouldn't think the Janet Reger item would go as a letter.

Mentor6 months agoThe buyer protection fee is subtracted from the amount offered so they should increase their offer by at least that amount.
