Not Happy
Summary: chegababy ordered replacement brakes that were supposed to fit their car based on the vehicle checking system after entering their car registration. However, after receiving the order and attempting installation, they realized the brakes did not fit. Upon contacting the seller with their VIN/Chassis code, it was confirmed that an incorrect product was sent, but the correct one wasn't in stock. They are frustrated about having to pay £21 for return postage to Germany for a product that was falsely advertised.
So, I needed new brakes for my car. I duly went through the vehicle checking system by putting in my car registration and up popped all the items that would fit my car. I ordered the product, I received the product. Got my car up on the axle stands, removed the wheel and the drum and the old shoes, opened the package, got out a replacement shoe and tried to fit it, no way, not a chance was this ever going to fit my brake drum. So, I took a photo and emailed the seller. Who then asked for my VIN /Chassis code, and lo and they had sent the wrong product!!!. And they didn’t have the product I needed in stock.🤬
So, I told them that I’m sending their product back to them. Now the sticky stuff, apparently I HAVE to pay the postage back to Germany £21 !!!!!. 🤬
They falsely advertised the wrong part and I’ve got to pay for the return postage, absolute joke.

Mentor3 months agoIf you open a case using one of the not as described reasons then the seller pays the return postage. If you use 'does not fit' you do.
