Mentor7 months agoYou have not received any answers as your screen shot does not open. Would you like to give item number and your location, so that I can look to see if problem is something fairly obvious.

OP7 months agothanks for your interest although I do now have an answer after talking
to eBay help .
It appears that my VPN had for some reason set my location to the USA ,
something I do not routinely do, and the Item I was buying , air rifle
pellets , triggered a response do to them being a" prohibited item ". It
will take eBay's deep thought 90 days to reset my location back to the UK
no matter what I do in the meantime .
The solution offered was to get a mate to buy them for me ,
not ideal but I can live with it for a couple more months .
I suppose I should have stated what I was buying when I first
posted the question , that may have helped .

Mentor7 months agoClear cache and cookies.
Also ebay don't like VPN, as they can't verify your location.
