non paying buyer
Why do eBay take no action against buyers that often fail to pay for items they win, I have one that going through his feedback has failed to pay 7 times in the last 6 months, but you are only able to leave positive feedback and put fails to pay in the comment. I feel that even though eBay claim to try and stop non payment they really don't do anything and it is impossible to get to speak to someone in eBay

Mentor4 months agoeBay allows sellers to open non payment cases against buyers who haven't paid after 4 days ,they will then get a strike on their account many sellers will block buyers with2 or more strikes so they are unable to buy.
Sellers are not allowed to leave negative comments against a buyers positive feedback, if a buyer reports this to eBay the seller gets a defect mark against their account and too many of these can see the seller getting sactioned.
Use
Using the non -payment tools provided by eBay helps other sellers leaving a negative comment does not, this only increases the buyers positive rating.

Mentor4 months agoIssue a non-payment cancellation after 4 days and they get a defect on their account which will be suspended if they get too many.
You can put their ID on your blocked bidder list, and block buyers with history of non payment in your account preferences.

Mentor4 months agoLeaving Positive feedback for a Non Payer is not allowed and can rebound to leave Sellers with a Defect if reported --- FFI >
Buyers are allowed 4 complete days to pay before you can open a Non Payment case ---you can recover any FVFs by opening an Unpaid case/s for non payment after 4 days and give timewasters a well deserved account defect/strike --- not shown but is effective in stopping/blocking persistent Non Payers ---False Positives only increases their FB scores >
