non existing stock
Summary: cos124 expressed frustration after purchasing an item from a seller with a 100% feedback rating, only to receive no communication and eventually a refund, despite the item still showing as in stock. They suspect the seller may be holding onto buyers' money deliberately, exploiting the inability to give feedback after a refund. cos124 also finds it difficult to complain to the platform as they couldn't find an appropriate facility for complaints, which adds to their annoyance.
bought an item from a seller with a 100% feedback, almost a week later no indication of it being posted. I sent a message yesterday and no communications just a refund.
Still showing stock. Does this seller and many others pocket peoples hard earn money keep it for as long as they can and then return when they have to? Imagine doing it to hundreds or buyers what a good earner this is.
No way giving a feedback as after the refund you are unable to do so. Also no way complaining to ebay as there is no such facility on their webpage.
very annoying!

Mentor1 month agoSince when has it not been allowed to leave feedback after a refund. In many cases a refund would be the agreed solution, in which case seller would deserve good feedback.
In this case what reason did seller use to refund? No doubt to avoid getting a defect used “buyers’s request”, if so that in itself is reportable. Any other reason “out of stock” gets a defect, and any other reason would not be true. Report seller.
