Non-existent ebay policy violation
I've got a blocked listing. Ebay saying it violates the policy about offering to sell outside of ebay. It doesn't. The AI help function goes around in circles, then fails "something agent wrong". It's as much use as a chocolate teapot. How do I speak to a real agent?

Mentor3 months agoDid you add a link to a third party website to your listing, that's what usually triggers this warning.

Mentor3 months agoContacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to10 p.m. on weekdays.

OP3 months agoThank you for this. I did speak with a nice Irish fella recently, who was very helpful. I've sent customer support an email this time. I think you helped me before. Thanks for that as well

Mentor3 months agoYou're very welcome, however, eBay do not answer emails, so don't be surprised not to receive any reply to the one you sent.
Only way to contact CS , and as above , I admit it's not easy to get a live agent, is through the link I provided.

OP1 month agoHello Tressygirl. Ebay now redirect that link so there is no longer a "call me" option. Shame. They're pretty good when the phone is used.
