I returned items and seller tried to have me accept some random item instead of a refund which I refused now says the warehouse checking the item which has been few weeks, when I go into purchase it won't allow me to have eBay to take over
If it's been a ' few weeks' it may well be you have been timed out from escalating to eBay for them to step in and refund you. After receipt of an item a seller has 48 hours to refund if they don't you have to escalate, doing nothing, the case will eventually time out and close.
You cannot open another case with eBay for this item, but can turn to your payment provider for help with a refund.

Mentor1 month agoIf you have opened a case then if no response within 3 days, on day 4 escalate to ebay..
If you have not opened a case then seller is not forced to do anything, except wait for you to be out of time.
